The aim of this study was to identify the level of the five major factors of
personality among the principals of public schools in the governorate of
north of Al-Batna and the reality of their administration of labor pressures

discovery the relationship between the five major factors of the school
principal's personality and his administration to the pressure of work, using
the descriptive, relational approach. The study applied to a random sample
consisting of (155) headmaster and headmistress, which represents (78.3%)
of the total school community, and the researcher used closed resolution as

factors for Costa and McCrae, and (2) The identification of strategies for
managing the work pressures prepared by the researcher. The main findings
of the study are: (1) The principals of public schools in the governorate of

and, a very high level of Conscientiousness with an average of (4.39), a
high level of Extraversion with an average of (3.84), Agreeableness with an
average of (3.98), and an Openness to experience with an average of (3.47).
The order of the five major factors of personality takes the following
descending order: Conscientiousness, Agreeableness, Extraversion,
Openness to experience, and Neuroticism. (2) The reality of managing
school principals for labor pressures falls within the very high level with an
ن
average of (4.20). )3( There are significant statistical differences related to
the species in both Extroversion, Agreeableness and Consciousness in
favor of the school principals, whereas there are no statistically significant
differences in (Neuroticism and Openness to experience) related to the
type. (4) There are significant statistical differences that relate to the type
of management of labor pressures in favor of school administrators. (5)
There are no statistically significant differences in each of the five major
factors of personality and managing labor pressures due to years of
administrative experience. (6)There is a positive correlation between the
management of labor pressures and (Extroversion, Openness to experience,
Agreeableness and Conscientiousness), and a negative relationship between
the management of labor pressures and Neuroticism . In the light of the
above findings, this study recommended to conduct more similar studies to
verify differences according to the gender and the years of administrative
experience.
