This study aims to: Identify the divine canons in the human psyche in
its various formative, spiritual, intellectual and behavioral aspects, based on
the book Tafsir al-Tahrir wa'l-Tanwir by Muhammad Al-Tahir Bin Ashour.
The researcher divided the thesis into a preface and three chapters.
The preface contained a brief summary of the highlights of Sheikh
Muhammad Al-Taher Bin Ashour's biography, and his book "Tafsir al-Tahrir
wa'l-Tanwir". The first chapter talked about the concept, characteristics and
types of the divine canons, with a brief presentation between the past and
the present of the canons culture. The same chapter also speaks about the
definition and subdivisions of the human soul, After that it followed by
explain the canon thought of Sheikh Ibn Ashour in his book with a
presentation of the most prominent terms that he used to express his
thought, Also some examples of historical and cosmic canons that he showed
in his book. In the second chapter this litter showed the canons of the human
psyche, which relate to the aspect of creation and formation, and to the
spiritual aspect, The third chapter focused on the intellectual, psychological,
and behavioral canons in the human psyche inferred by Tafsir al-Tahrir wa'l Tanwir and other supporting texts.
and some of these results that the thesis is conclude is that
Muhammad al-Tahir bin Ashour is interested of the canons in his Tafsir. And
he referred to its definition and some of its characteristics with all its human,
historical, and cosmic types, and expressed it by its word or by its meanings.
And that for every aspect of the human psyche is its canon that governs and
organizes it and through the recognition and the pursuit of it the soul is able
to to play its moral role in the fullest way. An example of the formative canon

of existential divine honor to the human being are the great stature, the
succession and the harnessing, And among the formative canons also the
pheasant, the disparity and the marital. From the canons of spiritual side of
the human soul is the originality of monotheism in the human soul and the
fact that the Qur'an is the source of guidance and the remedy of the soul,
and the establishment of the soul on the duality of guidance and delusion,
the canon of choice and free will, And the canons of guidance is based on
worship, struggling and balancing the demands of this life and the Hereafter,
and among the intellectual side canons is the reform of thought and belief is
the basis of every reform, and that abstract thinking in the universe and its
creatures leads to the veracity of the existence, and that human in his nature
is the craving for knowledge, And the canons of the psychological and
behavioral aspect is that hope and fear are the motives for work, and that
the life system is based on ease and is the method of dealing with the soul,
and the doctrine of contentment achieves stability and peace for the human
soul.
This is a summary of what was stated in this thesis, and I ask Allah for success
and rectitude He is the guardian and One who is capable, and may God bless
our master Muhammad and his family and companion .
