This study aimed to identify the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral counseling program depends on a number of professionals and cognitive behavioral strategies to reduce the level of the negative rebellion behavior of male adolescent. The sample of the study consisted of (60) students from ninth and tenth grades, who got the highest scores in the measurement of the negative rebellion behavior, which was prepared for this study The subjects of the study were divided into four groups, two groups were experimental and the other two were control. To achieve the objectives of the study control was prepared by the researcher to measure the negative behavior of adolescents. The cognitive behavioral counseling program was made ready as well. The pretest of the four groups was done .after the application of counseling program, which lasted for two months. The Program was of 13 meetings, two counseling meetings per a week. The results indicated that there are statistically significant differences between the two groups, the experimental and the control one in the level of the negative rebellion behavior according to the applied measurement favor of experimental group. The results indicated also the presence of statistically significant differences between the two groups, the experimental and the control one in the level of the negative
behavior of the rebellion as proved through the follow up measurement after 27 days of implementing the program in favor of experimental group. The results also indicated that the level of negative behavior of adolescent rebellion which was clear in the scale of follow up diminished. This is because of the nature of adolescence as well as the persistence and determination and challenge and the desire for independence imposed on adolescents to comply with the positive change easily. The result proved that the effectiveness of cognitive behavioral counseling program has helped greatly in reducing the negative behavior of adolescent rebellion This is evident from the results of the differences between the
averages of measurements of primary and post-and follow-up, also from the test results and statistics.
