This study seeks to demonstrate persuasive ability of the Arab media as well as to show the extent of the speaker's ability to influence the addressee.
The researcher divided the study in two frameworks: the first one is theoretical, divided into three sections. The first section deals with the concepts of the address in the Western and Arab studies, besides the elements of address that makes it a cohesive unit, in addition to the most important theorists' schools in address analysis.
The second section deals with media address and fields.
The third section addresses the link between the theories of rhetoric and persuasion.
The other frames practical and deals with the addressing relations and their persuasive abilities. Thy have been applied to a number of programs to show the speaker's ability to influence the addressee.

It is divided in to three sections, the first of which examines the portrait of the speaker, whereas the second deals with the portrait of the addressee. The third section examines the relationship between the addressees.
