This study has aimed to produce a collective counseling program
based on the counseling effectiveness in developing communication skills
with a sample of female peer educators in Al-Dakhiliya region's schools
in the Sultanate of Oman.
The study sample contained female peer educators the in Al-
Dakhiliya region's schools from grade to grade 11. The sample
constituted of students. They were between V-10 years old. Students
were randomly distributed in two equal groups (1 Students each), an
experimental group and a control group. The experimental group attended
the collective counseling program while the controlled group did not.
To examine the two study hypotheses, the average and the standard
deviations were calculated for the groups. The Mann Whitney U Test was
used to check the statistical differences in the communication skills'
degrees between the two groups using the post and the follow-up
measures.
