The current study aimed to know the attitudes of teachers of learning disabilities
program towards the response to intervention model at the Sultanate of Oman. The
researcher used the descriptive survey method. The study sample consisted of 304,
including 279 female teachers and 25 male teachers in the learning disabilities
program. The questionnaire consisted of 25 items divided into three dimensions: the
cognitive dimension, the emotional dimension, and the behavioral dimension.
The results revealed that the attitudes of the teachers of the learning disabilities
program towards the response to intervention model were positive and at a high level.
Also, the results showed that there were statistically significant differences due to the
gender variable, in favor of female teachers. The results indicated that there were no
statistically significant differences in the attitudes of the teachers of the learning
disabilities program towards the response to intervention model due to the variables of
specialization, years of teaching experience, educational qualification, and
governorate. The study recommended providing the learning disabilities teachers with
a program and training workshops that focus on developing the practices of the
response to intervention model.
