The study aimed to find out the relationship between professional tendencies and self-efficacy for tenth grade students in the Governorate of Muscat. An accessible sample of 241 male and female students from the Ministry of Education was selected. The Al-Barashdi Scale (2009) was used for professional tendencies, which includes six domains of professional tendencies according to Holland's classification (realistic, investigative, artistic, social, adventurous, traditional), and the Justice Scale (2001) was used for general self-efficacy. The level of professional inclinations of the students of the Governorate of Muscat in the Sultanate of Oman came to an average level from their point of view. It ranged between a low and a high level, where the highest tendencies related to the social field were at a high level, and came in the last place with a low level of tendencies for the tendencies related to the artistic field, and there were differences in inclinations in favor of males in the tendencies related to the following fields: social, realistic, and artistic, in contrast were Differences in favor of females in the traditional and investigative domains. There are no differences in the adventurous field between them. As for the level of self-efficacy, it was high in the sample, and there were statistically significant differences in the level of self-efficacy in favor of males. The study concluded that self-efficacy contributes to predicting professional tendencies.
