The study aimed to identify the degree of organizational culture and the degree of application of professional learning communities in basic education schools from the point of view of teachers in the governorates of North and South Al Batinah in the Sultanate of Oman, as well as to reveal the existence of a correlation between organizational culture and the application of professional learning communities in basic education schools. The study population consisted of all teachers in basic education schools in the governorates of North and South Al Batinah in the Sultanate of Oman, and the study sample included (376) teachers. The researcher used the descriptive approach correlational approach as method for the study, and used the questionnaire as a study tool. The study found a number of results, the most important of which are:
The degree of organizational culture in basic education schools was at a moderate degree level.
The degree of application of professional learning communities in basic education schools came to a moderate degree from teachers' point of view.
There was a positive correlation with statistical significance between the general average of organizational culture and the general average of professional learning communities.
The study suggested several recommendations, the most important of which are: paying attention to developing programs and activities offered by schools to develop teachers' capacities, developing organizational structures for schools to facilitate communication between administration and teachers.
