This study aimed to investigate the relationship between the emotional intelligence and aggressive behavior for tenth and eleventh grades' students at As-Sharqiyyah Governorate. The study sample included 511 male and female students of the study community i.e. 108 males and 403 females. The study sample represented 7% of the study community. The descriptive analytical approach has been used in this study. To achieve the objectives of this study, the researcher used Goleman's emotional intelligence and Amal Abada's aggressive behavior. The study indicated various results; the most important of which is that students of the study sample had emotional intelligence skills and that the sample individuals showed low level of aggressive behavior of all kinds. The results showed a negative correlative relationship of statistically significance between emotional intelligence level according to Goleman's theory and aggressive behavior. There was also statistically significant difference in the estimations of the study samples in all dimensions of emotional intelligence attributed to the gender variable in favor of females, except for sympathy variable which was in favor to males. The study concluded that there were no statistically significant differences between the tenth and eleventh grades in all dimensions of emotional intelligence. The study showed statistically significant differences at the dimensions of aggressive behavior for the study sample in favor of males, except for anger variable which showed no differences. The study results indicated that there were no statistically significant differences at the dimensions of aggressive behavior level attributed to the grade variable.
