The study aimed to distinguish between the reality of information systems in the work environment in government institutions in the Sultanate of Oman, where the level of management of information systems, as indicated by previous studies on the subject, is an important factor in focusing on the development of the work environment. The work environment in government institutions in the Sultanate of Oman and its impact on the work environment, as the research aimed to detect statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α ≥ 0.05) among the sample members about the reality of information systems about the work environment in the Sultanate of Oman due to the variables (type and title) functional and qualified professionalism and experience), and revealing the existence of a correlation between information systems and the work environment in government institutions in the Sultanate of Oman,and identifying obstacles to the application of information systems in the work environment in government institutions in the Sultanate of Oman. In order to reach the objectives of his study, the researcher applied the analytical descriptive approach and the questionnaire tool as a tool for the study on a sample of the study population of (133) male and female employees, then the researcher uses statistical analysis (spss), and one of the most important results of the study is that there is a statistically significant relationship between the level of management Information systems and the work environment, and one of the most important recommendations of the study is the need to work on implementing more training programs and focus on evaluating these programs as an objective indicator of the extent to which the goals and objectives of these programs are achieved, with the necessity of basing these training programs on the desires and needs of workers.
