الملخص الإنجليزي
The current study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of a group counseling program based on
integrative eclectic therapy in enhancing psychological resilience among female students with
learning difficulties. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher adopted the
experimental approach (quasi-experimental design) with a design of experimental and control
groups using pre-, post-, and follow-up tests. The researcher used the Psychological Resilience
Scale by Oshio et al., and a group counseling program based on integrative eclectic therapy
developed by the researcher. The study sample consisted of 14 female students with learning
difficulties, who were divided into two groups: control and experimental (n1=7, n2=7). The
sample was purposively selected from those with low scores on the Psychological Resilience
Scale. The results indicated statistically significant differences in the post-test between the mean
ranks of the scores of the experimental and control groups on the Psychological Resilience Scale,
favoring the experimental group. These differences were attributed to the effectiveness of the
counseling program provided to them. Additionally, the study found no statistically significant
differences between the mean ranks of the scores of the experimental group’s post-test and
follow-up test. The researcher recommends utilizing the counseling program presented in the
current study, which works to develop various skills that contribute to enhancing psychological
.resilience among female students with learning difficulties
