The study aimed to identify the level of psychological stress, mental health and quality of life among female teachers in the Muscat Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman, and to investigate any differences that may exist in the psychological stress, mental health and quality of life according to variables: the stage of education, specialization, age, and years of experience of the female teachers. In addition, it aimed to explore the extent to which psychological stress contributes to predicting mental health and quality of life among female teachers in the Muscat Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman. The sample was selected in a convenient way and its size was about (387) teachers. To achieve the objectives of the study, the psychological stress, the general health, and the quality of life scales were used. The validity and reliability of the scales and their psychometric properties were confirmed. The results of the study showed that the level of psychological stress and mental health among female teachers is moderate and the level of quality of life is high. The results of the study also concluded that there are no statistically significant differences in psychological stress, mental health and quality of life attributed to the variables of the stage of education and specialization, while statistically significant differences were found in psychological stress, mental health, and quality of life due to the variables of age and years of experience for teachers. The results of the study also revealed that psychological stress contribute to predicting mental health and quality of life. In light of the results, some recommendations and suggestions were suggested.
