This study aimed to investigate the relationship between some dimensions of intrinsic motivation and creativity behavior on grade eleven students. The study sample consisted of (298) two hundred & ninety eight offenses committed students in Muscat district, Sultanate of Oman. To achieve the objectives of the study, two scales were developed. The first scale examines intrinsic motivation and consists of (67) sentences. The second one measures creativity behavior and consists of (40) sentences. To analyze the responses of the sample's of the study, SPSS were used. The study concluded with the following results:
1. There was a statistically significant correlation between some of the dimensions of intrinsic motivation and creativity behavior in the study sample. The findings showed that some dimensions were more instrumental in influencing the creativity behavior which include (curiosity, self-confidence, concentration, and persistence), while "after enjoying learning" dimension did not statistically influence creativity behavior. The effects of these variables, however, varied depending on gender and major.
2.There were differences in regression values attributed to gender in some dimensions (self-confidence in favor of males, and curiosity in favor of females). Whereas, the results indicated no statistically significant gender differences in regression values for the remaining dimensions (perseverance, concentration, enjoy learning).
3. There were differences in regression values attributed to major but
only in the dimension "curiosity for students," favoring students with applied major. Other dimensions did not show differences in the regression values based on major.
