الملخص الإنجليزي
The aim of this study is to identify the availability of good written preparation criteria for Islamic studies lessons of the post basic cycle schools in the North Al Batinah Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman.
The researcher used the descriptive analytical approach (content analysis) as it is appropriate for achieving the research objectives and answering the research questions. This content analysis is composed of a card consisting of (43) criteria distributed over (8) fields, after approving its validity and reliability. The sample of the study consisted of (56) Islamic studies teachers in Al Batinah North Governorate who were chosen using stratified random sampling.
The study showed the following results:
1. The study suggested a list of criteria that should be available and taken into account when preparing the daily lessons.
2. The study found a general weakness in the availability of good criteria when used to assess the written preparation for Islamic studies lessons.
In the light of these findings, the study concluded with some recommendations and the most important one is the need for conducting more training programs by the Ministry of Education to promote the written daily preparation skills.
