This study aimed at diagnosing and Remedial learning Disabilities in addition and subtraction Operations. The study utilizes designed Programs that are aligned with the multiple intelligences theory. The Sample of the study was consisted of 5 students with learning Disabilities in Mathematics at Faidh Al Maarifah School(5-10), students were in the 6th grade (Case Study).
The researcher used a single group design with pre and post- test, which is a semi-experimental design, to diagnose learning Disabilities, diagnostic test was used to identify the type of errors and difficulties that each student is suffering from with respect to performing addition and subtraction operations. The multiple intelligence tests also identify the type of intelligences for each student.
Statistical analysis was used to analyze each student's responses to the diagnostic test questions and the personal interviews to identify their learning Disabilities. The researcher calculated the improvement percentages after the program was implemented. The results showed 95.6- 100% improve proves the effectiveness of the remedial program to address most of the learning Disabilities, with respect to performing addition and subtraction operations within numbers (999). This study ended with a number of recommendations and stressed on the need to build strategic remedial planes that take into account types of intelligences that students have and use the ideas of multiple intelligences theory.
