This study aimed to identify the level of social studies teachers' awareness of cultural and social effects of globalization in the Sultana of Oman, through answer the following study questions 1 - What level of awareness of social studies teachers in the Sultanate of Oman cultural and social effects of the phenomenon of globalization? 2 - What level of knowledge of social studies teachers at the cultural and social effects of globalization? 3- What level trends in social studies teachers about the cultural and social effects of globalization? 4 - Is there a statistically significant relationship between knowledge and trends of social studies teachers about the cultural and social effects of globalization? 5 - Are there significant differences between the average degree of knowledge of social studies teachers at the cultural and social impacts due to the variable sex and specialization? 6 - Are there significant differences between the average degree of teacher attitudes towards cultural and social effects of globalization due to the variable sex and specialization? To answer the questions researcher has been prepared a questionnaire, which included a 80 paragraph, (40) paragraph on the measurement tool of knowledge and ((paragraph 40 on the measuring device trends, and these have been the vehicle for action honesty and consistency, and formed the research sample of (200) teachers of the teachers (11, 12) on both the governorate of Muscat educational and the Al Battinah south educational region and Al-Battinah north educational region; The study reached the following results: - - the level of public awareness of the social studies teachers at the cultural and social effects of globalization medium. 2 - The level of knowledge of cultural relics more than the average level of knowledge of the social implications. 3-The average trends towards greater cultural relics from the average trends towards social impacts. 4 - There are statistically significant relationship between knowledge and attitudes of teachers of cultural and social effects of globalization. 5 - No statistically significant differences in the average level of knowledge due to the variable sex and specialization 6 - No statistically significant differences in the average level trends due to the variable sex and specialization. The researcher recommended that in light of the results of the study need to focus on teachers during the period of preparation through the development of specific modules on the nature of contemporary issues and developments of the age, contemporary, and encourage teachers to reading and encourage them to conduct research on the concepts and phenomena such as the modern phenomenon of globalization, and development for teachers through the exchange of visits and participation in educational programs and workshop.
