This study aimed at identifying the extent that Islamic cultural teachers practicing teaching competencies form the perspective of senior teachers in Oman regarding gender and teaching experience variables. The sample consisted of (170) senior teachers form seven educational governorates around the Sultanate. A questionnaire was designed by the researcher to cover four main dimensions (Planning competency, conducting and demonstrating lessons competency, classroom interaction and students communications competency and assessing competency) Out of the four dimensions (36) sub-competencies are divaricated. The instrument's validity was checked through a panel of jury. The reliability according to Cronbach's Alpha was (94.5) The study concluded the following results: . The degree of the Islamic cultural teachers practicing teaching competencies from the senior teachers' perspective is high (4.05) . There is no significant differences at (0.01) level between the degree of participants' estimates for Islamic cultural teachers practice according to : gender and experience. According to the findings, the current researcher recommends the following points: . Ensure that Teachers Preparation Institutions make use of the teaching competencies (current study) in Islamic Education teachers preparing . programs.
