The research aimed at studying the effect of the organizational climate on career performance in the directorates general of education in the Sultanate of Oman, through responding to the following questions: What is the reality of the organizational climate in the opinion of the personnel of the directorates general of education in the Sultanate of Oman? Do the estimations of the personnel of the directorates general of education in the Sultanate of Oman vary, according the following changes: scientific qualification and experience? What is the reality of career performance of the personnel of the directorates general of education? What is the relation between the reality of the organizational climate and career performance of the personnel of the directorates general of education? To answer these questions, I have designed a questionnaire consisting of (55) items covering six areas and after checking their authenticity; I have distributed them to (160) of the departments' heads. The study reached a series of conclusions, notably: 1. The degree of the consent of cases study varied. 2. I came to the conclusion that there were statistically differences between males and females in what relates to the nature of work and technology. This difference was in favor of males 3 There were no statistical differences in the academic qualification variation, except with regard to the communication type and this difference was in favor of the Masters qualification and beyond. 4. There were no statistical differences between the career experience levels in all cores of the study Results have shown that there were no statistical differences ir governorate variation in all cores of the study. Results have shown that there was direct and statistical link between the tools of the study cores and the job performance of the personnel of the directorates. The study has also arrived at a number of recommendations, notably: 1. The need to pay attention to the organization climate of the directorates concerned with upgrading the job performance of the personnel of the directorates of education in the Sultanate. 2. Distribute roles and tasks of employees, in accordance with their specializations. 3. Stay away from the routine in work and encourage employees to participate in decision making, express their opinions and contribute to development and creativity. 4. The need to continue the involvement of employees in decision making and urge them to bear responsibility and be confident in themselves. 5 Be fair in dealing with employees and not to discriminate between them in matters relating to promotions, incentives and rewards.. etc.
