This study aims to identify the effective time management with school principals in Al Batinah North and Al Batinah South Governorates in the Sultanate of Oman. It also aims to investigate the effect of the study variables, gender, job title, educational qualification and years of experience of the study participants regarding the effective time management with school principals.
The study sample consists of (232) principals, and it uses a questionnaire consisting of (6) areas. After reliability and validity were approved, the reliability coefficient was (96.0).
The study found that the effective time management with the school principals at Al Batinah North and Al Batinah South Governorates according to the sample of the study was among the middle range. It also showed that the effective time management for planning ranged between medium and few. Sstatistically significant differences were found at the level of (0.05) between the study sample in the levels of experience concerning the efficiency in time management. The study also showed the presence of sstatistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) according to the Gender variable for females. The study indicated that there were statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) according to the educational qualification variable for those who have a qualification higher than bachelor.
The recommendations focus on in-service training workshops for principals to develop their skills in time management and the development of awareness among school principals, as well as employees, of the importance of time management.
