The purpose of this study was to identify the level of obstacles to creativity facing cycle one (grade 1-4) of basic education students in Wealyat Al-Mudhaibi schools from the point of view of teachers and parents, as well as to identify the existence of statistically significant differences at the indicator level (0.05) in the levels of Obstacles to creativity of the cycle one students between mean scores of teachers and the mean scores of parents, also, find out if there were any statistically significant differences at the levels of Obstacles to creativity of cycle one education that are attributed to the variables of academic qualification, and income level, and ways to reduce these obstacles.
The sample of this study included all teachers of cycle one schools in Al Mudhaibi which are 194 teachers and all members of the Parents Council in each school, samples were chosen randomly. The study included 58 teachers which represented approximately (30%) of them and 50 parents representing about (90%) of them. The descriptive method has been used in this study. I have built a tool to measure the obstacles to creativity of cycle one students in basic education. Also, I have verify the authenticity and stability of the tool, which results showed that the measure has high stability.
The most important findings of this study revealed that:
1. There are obstacles of creativity facing the students in cycle one of basic education in Wealyat Al Mudhaibi from the viewpoint of teachers and parents due to the reasons related to students, teachers, curriculum, learning environment and parents.
2. There were no statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) of the
creativity impediments levels of cycle one schools in Wealyat Al-Mudhaibi from the viewpoint of teachers and parents, depending on the average scores of teachers and degrees of parents in school curriculum, administration and school environment. On the other hand, there are differences in the teachers axis in favor of the parents, and there are differences in the axis of parents for the benefit of the teachers.
