The thesis aims to recognize the impact of the strategic planning and how to reduce the problems faced by the employees of the Ministry of Transport and Information Technology and the companies working in the air transport field in the Sultanate of Oman. It also aims to recognize the importance of planning, its dimensions, and its active elements in managing crises which must be followed and paid attention to in order to reduce the effects of potential crises in the future and reduce their extent and losses. The descriptive and analytical methods using a questionnaire were used to collect the required data and samples. The target sample of the study was from the Ministry of Transport and Information Technology, the Civil Aviation Authority, the private companies operating in the air transport field like, Oman Air, Salam Air, Oman Airports, Transom Handling, International Sport Sotez company and employees such as general managers, assistant managers, technicians and so on. The study sample covered 440 people. The results of the questionnaire were 210, all of which were valid.
