English abstract
This study dealt knowing the importance of digital marketing on development of
tourism sector in Sultanate of Oman, and aimed also clarify the great importance
of digital marketing to increase the growth of tourism sector to reach new horizons
progress, development and easy communication, a questionnaire was designed
and distributed to community samples, the research included two axes, first is
digital marketing , second is development tourism sector, the researcher used
the study descriptive analytical approach due to its nature and achieve its
objectives, the inclusion of statistical analysis program (SPSS) in order analyze
Survey data, research samples included (221) employees and managers from
Ministry of Heritage and Tourism and other parties related, where research used
the random sample method in obtaining research data,
The results of research showed the impact of digital marketing in increasing the
revenues of tourism sector The average answers were that digital marketing
contributed to entering the tourism markets effectively and influential, as well has
a significant impact on use of digital marketing in development of tourism sector
In Sultanate in terms of tourist satisfaction with quality of tourism product and
level of The study recommended many recommendations, the most important of
which are: integrated information on tourism programs, activities and events
should be provided to Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, activating the application
of modern technological programs for digital marketing to create a competitive
environment that attracts attracting areas, heritage and tourist attractions and
tourism product.
The study was distinguished by fact that it dealt with dimensions of digital
marketing through promotion, electronic platforms, communication with
customer, linking it to sales, and expanding growth of tourism sector, and is
considered one of most important studies that will enrich library in field of
developing the tourism sector, and open new research horizons through a more
dynamic approach to digital marketing in tourism sector and its outputs through
digital revolution.
