This study aimed to identify the impact of the application of occupational health and safety standards on the performance of employees. An applied study for Petrogas companies in the Sultanate of Oman. The study population consisted of employees of Petrogas companies in the Sultanate of Oman. A questionnaire was designed and distributed to a sample of the study community. Using the statistical analysis program (SPSS) in order to analyze the questionnaire data, and the study sample consisted of (157) individuals working in Petrogas companies in the Sultanate of Oman, the study adopted the random sample method in obtaining the study sample, and the results of the study showed that there is a significant effect Statistics between the availability of warning devices and early detection of hazards and the performance of employees in Petrogas companies in the Sultanate of Oman. The study recommended the need for companies to adopt the occupational health and safety system of international standards, to educate workers on the need to follow the standards, procedures and rules of occupational security and safety, to intensify the periodic and direct follow-up by the company’s management to apply the standards and rules of occupational security and safety.
