The study sought to describe, analyze and the attitudes of the articles published by the Omani Arabic dailies (Al-Watan, Oman, Al-Shabiba, and Al-Roya), towards Arab events and issues during the period from 1/1/2022 to 30/6/2022. The study sheds light also on the attention been given by the studied newspapers towards these issues, as well as how the published articles set the agenda of the Arab issues and events the newspapers. This study is a descriptive one, uses the survey method (content survey), and applying both content analysis and unstructured interviews as tools to collect the data. The study concluded that the sample newspapers published 356 articles related to Arab events and issues. This number is relatively low as it represents only 5.68% of the total number of articles published in these newspapers. This low number reflects the lack of interest in the Arab events and issues in the studied newspapers. The study also pointed out that the largest number of the articles published in sample newspapers were analytical articles, with the exception of Al-Shabiba newspaper, which published only columns. The study revealed also that the articles published by the studied newspapers were written by opinion writers who focused mainly on the positive sides of the Arab general issues. The treatment of the articles published in the study newspapers were very balanced in general. With regard to the factors influencing the determination of the agenda by the published articles about the Arab events and issues, the results showed that the general principles of the newspapers' editorial policies are considered the main factor influencing this agenda, in addition to the newspapers' priorities of various topics and files that they focus on from time to time. The choice of topics for these articles is related to the extent of compatibility with the orientations of Omani foreign policy towards Arab issues, and the avoidance of exposure to bilateral or semi-collective Arab disputes.
