This study aimed to identify the attitudes of the 11th grade students in the post- basic education schools in the Sultanate of Oman toward digital citizenship and its relation to their self-efficacy in the use of the Internet. The study adopted the descriptive method by developing to measures: an attitudes of digital citizenship includes three factors: digital ethics, participation and digital rights, digital access and digital literacy; a measure of the level of self-efficacy in the use of the Internet of 37 items. To verify the validity of the measurements the researcher presented it to a group of experienced arbitrators. The consistency coefficient of the two instruments was calculated by using the Alpha chromabach equation. It was (,918) for the attitudes scale of digital citizenship while the self- efficiency scale in the use of the Internet reached (,930). The two measures were applied to a sample consisted of (785) male and female students from Muscat Governorate. The results of the study revealed that the level of the students 'attitude towards digital citizenship among 11th grade students in post-basic education was positive, where the general arithmetic average was (3.62), while the general arithmetic average of the level of self-efficacy in the use of the Internet reached (3.71) which mean high self-efficacy. In addition, the results showed a high correlation between the attitudes of students of post-basic education from grade 11 towards digital citizenship and their self-efficacy in using the Internet. Findings also revealed that half of the sample have mobile phones; and the highest percentage of them spend 3-4 hours a day using the internet. Furthermore, the purpose of using internet for most of them was to communicat with others. Surprisingly, most of them tend to hide their accounts away from their parents. The study recommended the need to integrate technology into education to include better digital education for the students to cope with the global digital education revolutio.
