THE PATIENT IS A 42 YEAR OLD FEMALE. SHE is a chronic carrier of hepatitis B virus and is on regular follow up for the same. The com puted tomography was done to look for a suspicious area in the liver, detected on a routine ultrasound of the abdomen. The liver examination was normal. Inciden tally, a congenital anomaly of the inferior vena cava was detected.
