English abstract
The second campaign of a Danish archaeological team in Oman took place during the winter of 1975/76 with the support of the Oman Government and of the Gulbenkian Foundation. Generous material assistance was also given by the Sultan’s Armed Forces, by the Defence Department, the Petroleum Development (Oman) and Williams Brothers as well as by our many welcome visitors in the field, and by the Danish breweries Carlsberg and Tuborg. Mr. R. Jackli and Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Peyton have always been strong supporters of archaeology and archaeologists in Oman, and Mr. Peter Farries went far beyond his duties in the Antiquities Department in his care for us. It is a pleasure to acknowledge this debt of gratitude which does not feel like a burden, but acts as an encouragement and stimulation.
