The importance of childhood is not hidden from individuals, countries and societies because of its prominent role in shaping human personality, skills and orientations. Magazines and appendices are considered media outlets that affect children with their contents. Information technology means a double-edged sword that can positively or negatively affect children. The Royal Oman Police has been addressing children in the media through the preparation of the (Alshorty Alsageer Appendix), which includes a variety of topics that seek to attract children, provide them with fun, interest and directions, and instilling good values ​​in them. In developing children's awareness of it, the research used the descriptive analytical method using a card to analyze the content of the appendix (Alshorty Alsageer) and a questionnaire to address parents about the effect of the appendix on their children's awareness. The degree of familiarity with and availability of the contents of technology, information technology and social media in the appendix is generally medium, and the most attempts were The availability is the focus of the characteristics of the topics, and the least available axes in a weak degree is the focus of access and availability, and that the most available features in the supplement are the characteristics of the form, followed by the diversity of topics, while the availability of technical and social media contents in the supplement is less. The study recommended the need to pay attention to providing the supplement in paper in educational institutions For children and encouraging parents to provide it for their children to view it, especially the males, increasing the definition of the supplement and distributing it on paper and electronically to the target groups and encouraging them to view it, and working to increase diversity in the topics of the supplement and intensifying the provision of appropriate technical and social content for children
