The following is a description of lithic implements and debitage collected from sites newly discovered by Miss B. de Cardi and Dr D. B. Doe in January 1976. Ten new lithic sites were found, from five of which implements were collected (FIGS 1, 2, and 3). Implements are also described from two other sites discovered by Mr R. E. H. David (FIGS 4–8). The locations of all but one of the sites are shown on the site location map (PLATE IX) accompanying the Site Gazetteer. The remaining site is one located by Mr David near Habarut, "on the northern edge of the wadi about half/three-quarters mile north of the two forts."
