Revival of the Silk Road not only is important in development of regional and international cooperation but also could be as a new market for development of tourism in the countries settled in this road. In the past, when the Silk Road wad established, cities which were settled on the Silk Road became flourished by flourishing the Silk Road and were destroyed by the Silk Road decline; There were so many cities like these in the past centuries and millenniums; for example from west to east in western Asia cities like Babylon, Ctesiphon, Petra, Palmyra, Tyro and Sidon; in Iran plateau cities like Ecbatana and Rey; in the dry plains of Turkestan, cities like Marv Samarkand, Bukhara, Balkh and Tashkent ; in mountain pumps of Pamir cities like Kashgar and Yarkand; in Hvzh Tarym cities like Khotan, Shan Shan, Lvlan and Tvrfan; in China cities like Tvnhvang, thousand Buddha caves, Chang and Lvyang as ancient capitals. Today the revival of this old road is so important for the countries settled on the Silk Road in order to develop growing industry of tourism and cooperate between those countries in terms of economical and commercial relationships. In addition to economical aspects, revival of this long historical road could lead to close relations between nations which met their own needs without any dependency on west world in the past by which they could increase their tourism attractions by support and cooperation. Delivery of silk and spices and other eastern products to the west by caravans led to the establishment of a long commercial road as "the Silk Road" which connected china to Europe. Meanwhile, silk road not only played an important role in the delivery of eastern products to the west but also it made possible the exchange of cultures between west and east for hundreds of years. In this article, descriptive - historical method is used and the importance of the revival of the Silk Road in the development of tourism industry between countries settled on this road and valuable strategies are considered too.
