This article presents the case of a 26-year-old woman with a two-year history of painless upper neck swelling. Initial diagnosis suggested a thyroglossal duct cyst, which was confirmed postoperatively as papillary thyroid carcinoma of the thyroglossal duct. The Sistrunk procedure was successfully performed, and the patient is currently undergoing follow-up care with consideration for additional treatments such as total thyroidectomy and radioactive iodine therapy. The article discusses the rarity of thyroglossal duct carcinoma, diagnostic challenges, and management options, emphasizing the importance of individualized treatment plans.
