Performing classical vaginal hysterectomy on patients with pelvic organ prolapse and cervical elongation can be challenging. Despite the difficulties and risks, it remains the safest and the best available option. We present an illustrated case of step-by-step vaginal hysterectomy management of pelvic organ prolapse with cervical elongation in a 42-yearold woman.
