Three cases of water-associated dermatitis in Oman, Southern Arabia and the medical treatment given are reported. The symptoms suggested corcarial dermatitis caused by animal schistosome parasites transmitted via vector snails. These cases resemble invasive schistosomiasis caused by human schistosomes, thus warranting the monitoring of patients for the systemic signs to rule out the diagnosis of human schisiosomiasis. The role of snail species recorded in the habitats as possible vectors and prevention measures are briefly discussed.
