English abstract
The study aimed to identify the source of authority among school principals and to detect the level of motivation and achievement among schoolteachers in Al Batnah South governorate. The study also aimed to reveal the relation connectivity between the source of authority practiced among school principals and the motivation achievement among teachers in Al Batinah South governorate. The study used the descriptive approach; Questionnaire in the collection of data was applied to a sample of (591) teachers.
The study reached several results, the most important of which is source of authority among school principal in Al Batnah South governorate, which ranked first after the authority of law/ legitimacy and last after the authority of coercion/ Compulsion. On the other hand, the level of motivation achievement among schoolteachers in Al Batnah South ranked first after perception of time, and last after the competition. The results showed that there is a statistically significant correlation relationship at the mean level (a <0.05) between the sources of authority practiced by the school principals and the motivation achievement among schoolteachers in Al Batnah South governorate. The study suggested numerous recommendations, the most important of which is to work on developing the skills of school principals and their ability to practice the sources of authority positively by giving those opportunities for professional development and providing them with physical and moral support. Also, work to give the school principals more powers, especially regarding the possibility of granting good teachers incentive Encouragement and physical and career promotions, which in turn raises the level of motivation achievement among schoolteachers.
