The study aims to identify the Islamic studies teachers and students' attitudes towards (intel) program and their suggestions to activate this program. To achieve the study aims, the researcher utilizes the descriptive approach. A measurement tool is designed to measure Islamic studies teachers' attitudes towards Intel. The measurement tool consists of (30) statements and one open question around teachers' suggestions to activate intel program in teaching Islamic studies in Oman.
After being tested, the study tools are applied to a sample of (43) female and male Islamic studies teachers. This sample has been trained to use Intel between (2011/2018) in the govemorates of South Batinah, North Batinah, A dhahirah, Musandam, Dhofar, and A'sharqiya North. Another sample has been used for this study which consists of (137) female and male students from South Batinah governorate who have been taught Islamic studies using Intel program in (2017/2018) The results of the study: The attitudes of the Islamic studies teachers (the study sample) of using Intel are generally positive regarding the trainer, the program and the curriculum used during the training period. While their attitudes are average regarding timing and the administrative facilities. On the other hand, the students' attitudes (the study sample) are generally positive in all areas. There is no critical difference in the accumulative mean (0,05) in the responses of the trainee teachers neither regarding gender nor the educational level.
On the light of the previous results, the study suggests to generalize the training program and make an annual plan for training all Islamic studies teachers in all govemorates to use Intel program in teaching Islamic studies and to eliminate all the difficulties that the trainee teachers might face during the implementation process of the program.
