English abstract
The study aimed to identify the possibility of applying Management Excellence In Post Primary Education schools -Sultanate of Oman on the Path of European Excellence Model Standards, from the perspective of the respondents of the questionnaire which includes (367 PAX) of administrative supervisors, principals & their assistants and senior teachers. The said respondents have selected at random from three educational governorates! For the purpose of achieving the study objectives, the study were based on a questionnaire consisted of (70) passages divided into the following three axes:
Possibilities or opportunities of applying Management Excellence on the Path of European Excellence Model Standards. Requirements of applying Management Excellence. Barriers of applying Management Excellence.
Results displayed of the study were as follows:
* Possibilities or opportunities of applying Management Excellence in Post Primary Education schools -Sultanate of Oman, on the Path of European Excellence Model Standards were varied between large & medium degree. Revealed Significant statistically differences (3 0.05) in the views of respondents regarding possibilities or opportunities of applying Management Excellence in Post- Primary Education schools Sultanate of Oman on the Path of European Excellence Model Standards related to job 'Variables and in favor of principals & their assistants, while there were no differences related to the variable of academic qualification and Educational governorates. Requirements of applying Management Excellence in Post- Primary Education schools Sultanate of Oman, on the Path of European Excellence Model Standards were in a large degree. Barriers of applying Management Excellence in Post- Primary Education schools Sultanate of Oman, on the Path of European Excellence Model Standards were in medium degree. Among the most important proposed procedures for the application of Management Excellence in Post- Primary Education schools -Sultanate of Oman on the Path of European Excellence Model Standards are:
✓ Publishing the education of management excellence in the educational field for the purpose of enabling school leaderships for its application.
✓ Creating specific mechanisms and clear criteria when selecting schools' leaderships.
✓ Set up an integrated system of legal accountability for job performance and link it with promotions and bonuses.
✓ Adoption of clear and rationed standards for measuring organizational performance and the quality of outputs in school in a way that ensures providing clear and objective indicators
