English abstract
The aim of the study was to investigate possible relationship between Achievement Goals Orientations and Motivational Climate and possibility to predict motivational climate through Achievement Goals Orientations and to investigate possible gender differences in grade ten students. The sample consisted of 300 students with an average age of 15-16 years completed tow questionnaires: Achievement Goals Orientations with four dimensions (Mastery/Approach, Mastery/Avoidant, Performance/Approach, Performance/Avoidant) and Motivational Climate with two dimensions (Mastery & Performance) and their reliabilities were estimated (R= 0.85, R= 0.76 ). Data were analyzed by hierarchal regression analysis and t-test. The findings indicated that the relationship between Achievement Goals Orientations and Motivational Climate was positive and significant. The regression analysis indicated that achievement goals orientations (Mastery/Avoidant) predicted motivational climate. Also, girls were more likely to perceive Motivational Climate as Mastery.
