English abstract
The study aimed to identify the reality of educational supervisors practices In the light of dialogue management in the Sultanate of Oman. From the point of view of educational supervisors and teachers. In addition, to reveals the existence of statistical differences between the samples of the study which were due to changes like (gender-job- years of experience) .The researcher used the descriptive approach to achieve the study aims. The study used the questionnaire that consisted of (47) paragraph. It focus in four dimensions negotiation and persuasion, communication, trust and dialogue evaluation. The study sample consist of (184) supervisors and (422) teachers from Muscat Govemorate, AlSharqyia nourth Governorate and Al-Sharqyia south Govemorate.
The statistical processing of the data was done through the statistical package of psychological and social sciences. The main findings of the study include:
The educational supervision practices through dialogue management in the Sultanate of Oman came high in the all four dimensions. The communication dimension got the highest average then the dialogue evaluation then the negotiation and persuasion and finally the trust dimension. Also the results showed that there were significant differences attributed to gender variable at level (a < 0.05) for female in all dimensions between the responses of the study sample in the all fields of study.
As well it showed that there were statistically significant differences attributed to job at the level (a < 0.05) for the educational supervisors in all dimensions except the dialogue evaluation between the responses of the study sample in the all fields of study. While it became clear that there was no statistically significant differences at the level (a < 0.05) between the responses of the study sample in the field of dialogue evaluation.
No statistically significant differences according to variable years of experience at level (a < 0.05) in all dimensions between the responses of the study sample in the all fields of study.
This study recommended to:
• create dialogue groups between supervisors and teachers within the same major or different majors
• activation of dialogue supervision through the supervision Practices;
• enable the educational supervisor of the dialogue management principles and employ it and put mechanisms to encourage analysis, meditation and problem solving skills;
• specify rooms for educational supervisors and teachers meetings for dialog sessions provided with video all needed equipments and
use it as reference for achieved aims and;
• conduct some relevant studies.
