English abstract
This study aims at acquainting the degree of dimensions availability of
organizational flexibility of basic education schools principals and its relation to the
level of teachers' empowerment. The study follows the descriptive curriculum using
questionnaire in all information and was applied practically on samples of (411) male
and female teachers. The study deduced a variety of results, the most important of
these was that the degree of dimensions availability of organizational flexibility was
at high level, the first rank community partnership and in the second rank self censorship, it came in the third rank information and knowledge and in the fourth rank
teamwork and in the final rank human resource. The results of the study revealed that
there are no statistically significant differences at the level (α ≤ 0.05) in the responses
of the study sample of teachers to the degree of dimensions availability of
organizational flexibility attributed to the variables of gender. But there are
statistically significant differences attributed in the variables of scientific qualification
for bachelor's degree and years of experience for more than 10 years.
The results of the study showed that the level of teachers' empowerment in the
fields of study as a whole was at high level. The first rank is independence and
freedom to work and in the second rank creativity at work; it came in the third rank
professional development and in the final rank participates in decision making. The
results of the study revealed that there are no statistically significant differences at the
level (α ≤ 0.05) in the responses of the study sample of teachers to the level of
teachers' empowerment attributed to the variables of gender. But there are statistically
significant differences attributed in the variables of scientific qualification for
bachelor's degree and years of experience for more than 10 years.
The results of the study found a positive correlation and statistically significant
relationship between the degree of organizational flexibility and the level of teachers'
empowerment.
