English abstract
The present study aims at identifying the types of the linguistic terms in the Ibana's Book for Al'Otabi, and inferring mechanisms in defining these terms and distributing the terms according to their connotation domains and inferring the connotation relations between these terms. The study is distributed into three chapters preceded by an introductory, in which the researcher has discussed the theoretical background for the term in terms of its definition and its importance, shedding the light on the number of problems that face linguists and clarifying the difference between the term with the other terms such as the language, the word and idioms. Taking the connotation side for the pronunciation and its relationship. Finally, ways of defining the terminologies.
The first chapter studies terms of the linguistic terms in general and the sound specifically and they are categorized into four connotation areas: the language terms, their sources and qualities, sound qualities terms, letters terms in their qualities and outlets, and the terms of defective articulation.
The second chapter discusses the syntax terms and is divided into seven connotation areas; the syntax site terms, letters meaning terms, terms specialized with names, terms specialized with verbs terms of syntactic conditions, syntactic meanings terms and the syntactical general terms.
The third and the final chapter of the study has collected the rhetorical terms with the morphological terminologies. This chapter is divvied into two sections. The first section discusses the syntactical terminologies, whereas the second section discusses the rhetorical terms and in both sections the terms were divided into connotation areas and fields that connect them with connotation relationships.
This study was enriched by highlighting the most important dimensions in Al Ibana's Book, I mean the dimension of the linguistic
term, and the ways that Al'Otabi has used this term for. The detection of the use of term in the historical linguistic study- including the Ibana's Book- will deepen in my point of view the right direction in stabilizing (conventionality) in our language and approaching it to construct a conventional echelons that are needed. That what fosters the language to be alive.
