English abstract
The current study aimed to identify the Conflict of Roles and its relationship to self- efficacy among mothers of children with disabilities at the Sultanate of Oman.The study sample consists of (375) respondents who were selected randomly.Scale of Conflict of Roles was prepared; self- efficacy (Yousef, 2016) was used.The results showed that the level of conflict of roles was moderate, while the level of self- efficacy was high.There was significant negative correlation between conflict of roles and self- efficacy among sample.According to variables, the results showed that there was significant difference in housework and self-relationship domains due to age variable, in favor of which their ages are less than 35 years old, and there was significant difference in the conflict of roles due to type of disabilities in favor of visual, hearing, motor, autism, and multi-disabilities.In addition, there was significant difference in the conflict of roles due to number of disabled children in favor of which has more than one child, while there was no significant difference in the conflict of roles due to type of work.Regarding self- efficacy, the results showed that there was significant difference in self- efficacy due to type of disabilities in favor of hearing, autism, and multi-disabilities, and there was no significant difference in self- efficacy due to age, type of work, and number of disabled children.
