English abstract
The study aimed to: [Determine the level of career guidance centers effectiveness, determine the level of professional awareness dissemination of employment market requirements, Predict for Professional Awareness of Employment Market Requirements through Career Guidance Centers Effectiveness from the Viewpoint of the Students of Sultan Qaboos University and University of Nizwa, investigate the differences between: the levels of career guidance centers effectiveness and the variable of gender (males & females), and investigate the differences between: the levels of professional awareness dissemination of employment market requirements and the variable of gender (males & females)] from the Viewpoint of the Students of Sultan Qaboos University and University of Nizwa. To achieve the study objectives, the descriptive analytical approach was used. The study was conducted by using: [Career Guidance Centers Effectiveness Questionnaire by (Al-Khatib, 1994)-amendment-: (Balhumr, 2012), Professional Awareness of Employment Market Requirements Scale by ((Subhi, 2009)- amendment- (Dahmari, 2014)]. The study sample was compromised of (492) students from Sultan Qaboos University and University of Nizwa. The most important results of the study were: [the level of career guidance centers effectiveness was (178) out of the total score (335)-to verify- an (average) level according to the used questionnaire, the level of professional awareness dissemination was (90) out of the total score (130)-to verify- an (average) level according to the used scale; also predictability for Professional Awareness of Employment Market Requirements through Career Guidance Centers Effectiveness (average/0.621) at a significance level of (alpha=0.01), there were also statistically significant differences at a significance level of (alpha= 0.01) favoring males between: the levels of career guidance centers effectiveness; and there were also statistically significant differences at a significance level of (alpha=0.01) favoring males between: the levels of professional awareness dissemination of employment market requirements]. Based on the results of the study, the researcher presented a set of recommendations: (related to the results of the study and associated with the future studies) that - may contribute to raising the effectiveness of career guidance centers in the dissemination of professional awareness of employment market requirements.
