English abstract
The Aggressive Behavior is a wide-spread problem among children in schools, and this study was conducted to study the effects of counseling on the limitation of undesirable behavior among students in schools and try to overcome and find a remedy by means of an experimental program. This study titled "The Effectiveness of a Group Counseling
Program In Reducing the Aggressive behavior among the Students" in the 2nd circle from the Basic Learning aims to build group counseling program shares to decrease aggressive behavior. It also aims to learn the
effect of counseling program. The researcher put two variables:
1.There is no statistically significant difference in experimental program.
2.There is no statistically significant difference between experiment groups.
The researcher used three tools: First he identified (14) problems from the various student problems and distributed among school Headmaster and social specialists and teachers.
Another one is a measurement for aggressive behavior and counseling program which is practiced in recent studies and the program contains several techniques of counseling.
The research sample included (24) students distributed in a simple method to two groups (12) student for experimental group and (12) for
control group. The results of the study were derived using the statistical method for Social Science (SPSS-16) and the result was that group
counseling program was effective in reducing the aggressive behavior for students in class Eight and Nine, in the Dakhaliya region.
