incentives provided by the private practice of social workers, as well as the obstacles

requirements of their success, and the researcher took the research of the curriculum.

private advisory centers in Oman, and the study relied on two tools: the questionnaire
of a sample of 21 beneficiaries of the guidance services provided by the special advisory
centers, 21 beneficiaries and a guide to managers and specialists in special advisory
centers and experts at the Ministry of Social Development, numbering (15), the study
also relied on some statistical indicators from the advisory centers of Oman, and the
results of the study concluded that the prevalence of special advisory centers in Oman
is low and that the majority of the problems they deal with are marital and psychological
problems, as well as the results of the study found that females are more involved in
work in the field of private practice than males, and that the beneficiaries of the female
category are more in demand for counselling services than these centers, as well as the
results of the study found that the community Omani has become more aware of the
role of these centers and services provided to the individual community, and the results
of the study also found that there is a necessary need for the presence of these centers
in the society where they provide professional services to many members of the
community and on the other hand the results of the study found that the private practice
contributed to the access of social workers a number of benefits and incentives that they
do not find in government work.
As well as The results of the study also found several obstacles to the spread of the
private practice of social work in Oman, the most important of which is its geographical
distribution, the tightening of some laws and legislation from the competent authorities,
and the lack of training for social workers in the private field. The most essential
requirements for the success of the private practice of social work in Oman are the
government support for these centers, training, and rehabilitation for social workers in
these centers, and flexibility in applying the laws relating to the work of these centers.
The study also proposed a number of proposals, the most important of which is the
existence of interdependence and cooperation between private advisory centers in
referring to cases in the absence of professional service in one of them, as well as the
inclusion of private practice programs in the curriculum that studies social work, as well
as the contribution of the private sector and the government sector in supporting and
training specialists in these centers, as well as the establishment of advisory centers in
various regions of Oman and the comprehensiveness of health insurance for extension
services from these centers, as well as the provision of free services from these centers
for low-income groups.
