English abstract
This study is entitled Contemporary Applications of Waqf
(Waqf companies as an example) A comparative study between
Fiqh and Omani Law. It aims to explain the contemporary
applications and modern investment formulas of Waqf, and to clarify
its provisions from the jurisprudential and legal aspects. It also aims
to explain the concept of Waqf companies, and to clarify the
legitimacy of Waqf companies from the jurisprudential and legal
aspects.
The study reached several results, the most prominent of which
are: that the overweighing view is the permissibility of endowing
contemporary applications. The Omani Waqf Law has not specified
how to endow these contemporary applications and its terms, nor has
it mentioned Waqf companies. In its ninth chapter, the Omani Waqf
Law organizes endowment institutions, which can be used to
establish endowment companies.
Finally, we ask Allah for success, acceptance of this work and
perseverance.
