English abstract
The aim of this study was to evaluate the book of Islamic education scheduled for the fifth grade from the point of view of teachers and first teachers in the governorate of South Al-Batinah, and the researcher adopted the descriptive analytical curriculum, for its suitability to the objectives of the study and its questions, through a questionnaire consisting of (50) criteria, distributed over (5) areas, after confirming their truthfulness and consistency, and the study sample consisted of (121) teachers of Islamic education in the governorate of South Al-Batinah, selected by random sample Method.
The study showed the following results:
1. Reaching the appropriate criteria for evaluating the Islamic education textbook for the fifth grade from the point of view of Islamic education teachers, depending on the study tool.
2. The study found the availability of appropriate standards in the Islamic education textbook for the fifth grade, where all areas ranged from a very large to a large degree of availability. Considering the results, the study concluded some recommendations, the most prominent of which are:
Developing the current books prescribed in the rest of the stages after the fifth grade to become more suitable for teaching and learning in the light of the specifications that should be available in the textbook.
