English abstract
The aim of this study was determining the effectiveness of the Edu
CoSpaces platform in developing knowledge, attitudes, and environmental
aesthetic sense among grade sixth female students in the Sultanate of Oman,
and to verify this; The study adopted the quasi-experimental approach, each
group including 32 female students .
The researcher prepared three research materials and four tools, which were
the Edu CoSpaces platform, the study unit, and a guide for the teacher on the steps of
teaching using the platform. As for the tools, they were the environmental knowledge
test, the environmental attitudes scale, the environmental aesthetic sense scale, and the
attitudes scale toward the platform. Edu CoSpaces, and the validity of the materials
and tools was verified by presenting them to 16 specialized arbitrators, and the stability
of all study tools was verified using statistical treatments; The reliability coefficient
value for the environmental knowledge test was 0.68 according to Cronbach's alpha
coefficient, and for environmental attitudes scale was 0.88, while the environmental
aesthetic sense scale was 0.65.

knowledge and attitudes, and the absence of statistically significant differences in the
measure of environmental aesthetic sense between the performance averages of the
two study groups, and the presence of statistically significant differences in the
measure of attitudes towards the Edu CoSpaces platform in favor of the experimental
group. Based on the findings of this study, it is recommended that it is necessary to
include social studies curricula with very clear shapes, diagrams, and pictures of the
natural phenomena to be learned. The studies on the effectiveness of the augmented
virtual reality platform Edu CoSpaces in developing green economy skills.
