English abstract
The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of human resource management
methods on the performance of Ministry of Labor employees in the Sultanate of Oman.
This quantitative research employs a descriptive-analytical methodology. The current
study collected data from Ministry of Labor employees using questionnaire and
convenience sampling. Three hundred employees were engaged in completing the
disseminated survey.
This study revealed a significant association between human resource management
techniques and their dimensions (recruitment and appointment, training and development,
motivation, and performance evaluation) and the performance of Ministry of Labor
employees.
The researcher recommends activating the role of human resources management practices
in the Ministry of Labor in the Sultanate of Oman through the development of effective
mechanisms to control and ensure their objectivity at work to benefit from them in
improving the performance of workers and facing work pressure; focusing on a higher
level in motivating Ministry of Labor employees; ensuring the objectivity of human
resources management practices.
In addition, this research contains several recommendations for future studies and a
description of the most challenging obstacles encountered during its execution. This
research contributes to human resources and the Sultanate of Oman, specifically.
