English abstract
This study aims identify the reality of supervisory staff administrative empowerment and relationship between empowerment of supervisory staff and employee’s willingness to run for supervisory jobs. The study was conducted on Ministry of Education staff in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate. The study sample included all the educational supervisors in the Ministry of Education in North Al Sharqiyah, a total of 90 supervisors. Data collection involved participants filling an electronic questionnaire. A total of 84 useful questionnaires were returned. Statistical analysis was conducted using SPSS program.
The reality of administrative empowerment in the education in North Al Sharqiyah in the Sultanate of Oman came at an average level with a difference in the dimensions of administrative empowerment.
The study recommends spreading the culture of administrative empowerment and empowering educational supervisors and overcoming all administrative obstacles, thereby giving supervisors more independence, confidence and powers to facilitate the performance of the tasks entrusted to them. This can have a positively good impact on solving the problems which they may well face in their career life, as well as providing an environment that enables them to exploit and invest the available capabilities and resources which in turn enhance their participation in decision-making and decision-making processes. With addition to that, providing support material and moral assistance whenever is needed.
The study recommends conducting more research about administrative empowerment and administrative challenges in supervisory work in order to keep improving the system and find new means of enhancing the skills of the supervisors.
