English abstract
The current study aimed to discover the relationship between psychological security and emotional expression in sample of female students from (8-12) in the southern province of Batinah of the Sultanate of Oman The researcher used the descriptive method, and used tow tools for study; one of them were the psychological security measure which prepared by Zeinab Shuqair (2005), and the other was the emotional expression scale developed by Gros and John (1987). The sample consisted of (500) students (67.13%) of the population. They were selected randomly from the states of Al-Rustaq, Barka, Wadi Al-Ma'awal, Musna', and Nukhl.
The results showed that the level of psychological security and the level of emotional expression skills among sample were mid, also results showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the level of psychological security among students in grades 8-12 due to the variable of the age group, and there were no statistically significant differences in the emotional expression levels among the students, while there is a significant correlation between the level of psychological security and emotional expression; the degree of emotional expression is affected by the degree of psychological security and social relations with others.
